Since 2012, The World Bar has been an incredible host for our weekly House party. It is with thanks and sadness that we inform you after this Saturday, Cakes will be taking an indefinite hiatus. For more info please refer to The World Bar page for their upcoming plans. For 5 incredible years, we thank you for sharing our vision towards the best House music AUS has on offer. 100% no cheese, it’s been nonstop feels, we've been constantly overwhelmed with the support we’ve received every step of the way. To have the ability to keep that as our fundamental mission has been something very special. To connect like-minded people, through music and conversation. A big thank you is in order to everyone who participated, you have given so many artists, promoters, DJs and patrons a chance to learn, grow, evolve and pursue their passion for music. Since the inception Cakes has always been a place to belong. For 5 amazing years it has been such a pleasure to share the dance floor with all of you amazing people. This weekend it's time for us to say goodbye to the Saturday nights at World Bar and for a new crew to fly the flag for this amazing venue. It's been a second home to us for so many years and we really do appreciate the time we've spent. Come celebrate with us one last time while we rip the lid off this place and give her a good send off. From now until eternity, Cakes Forever.
