Draco Term 3 Auditions

Aspire Dance Academy's elite hip-hop squad "Aspire Draco" is pleased to announce our second audition opportunity for 2017. Looking to push yourself? Wanting opportunities to choregraph? Excited to improve your freestyling? Then Draco maybe be the team for you! Audition Components: 1. Participate in an intensive warm-up 2. Improvise/Freestyle as part of a small group 3. Learn one short piece of choreography from the organised teacher 4. Showcase a piece of your own hip-hop choregraphy (min. 1 minute; max. 1.20) 5. Complete a short interview on why you want to be a part of the crew. Interview questions may include (but are not limited to): -Your dance background -What you can bring to the team -Your dance-related goals How to register: 1. Email info@aspiredance.com.au with your full name and expression of interest. Note that registrations close 48 hours before the event starts (16/07/17), so don't leave it till the last minute. Absolutely NO exceptions will be made. 2. Include in your registration email the edited* music you will be using for your solo. To ensure the audition runs with minimal interruptions we will not be allowing dancers to play music off of their phones. Please also note the following... -Applicants must be 18+ unless specifically invited by Dante Taurima - dress code is strictly ALL BLACK (shoe/socks excepted)** - the audition starts at 7.30pm sharp. You must be signed in at reception no later than 7.20pm or you will not be allowed to enter the audition - spots are LIMITED - any current members who do not make the audition will be unable to compete with the squad until completing the Term 4 audition*** We look forward to seeing you there! *Edited refers to music shortened to the required length (so that the adjudicators can simply "press play") **Dress code will be checked/approved by the adjudicators on the day ***Medical/family emergencies will be taken into consideration if proof is provided to the adjudicators. This is only applicable to current members IF they attended the Term 2 audition
