The 2017 Stacks Finance Legends Pro Am will be played at Club Taree on Friday 1st December 2017. Club Taree is proud to announce Stacks Finance as the naming rights sponsor of the 2017 Legends Pro Am. This event is part of the annual PGA Legends Tour and is managed by the PGA of Australia. White Ribbon Ambassador, and Club Taree CEO Morgan Stewart is teaming up with the Club Taree Women's Golf to present the 2017 White Ribbon Golf Day on Wednesday 22nd November. The event is welcome to all, and will be raising funds for the Taree Women's Refuge. Our White Ribbon Golf Day will bring together men and women to raise funds for a (sadly) much needed resource in our local community. Get together with your friends to help us make a positive difference in our community. The event aims to raise awareness of White Ribbon Day (which is the 25th November) which is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. In 2017 we are acknowledging the fact that men's violence against women is everyone's issue. The toys for Santa's toy raffle arrived this morning and are displayed in the members lounge, there are loads of fantastic prizes up for grabs, come in and take a look. Tickets are on sale tomorrow for pre sale. During the pre sale members can buy $10 worth and get $20 worth free - that's $30 worth of numbers for $10. Pre sale finishes Saturday 25th November. The toy raffle is Sunday 26th November, with the first number being drawn at 2.30pm. This raffle replaces our regular Sunday Raffle. It's our favourite day of the month today. Today's make a meal crew for Ronald McDonald Family Retreat was Courtney, Bettina, Sarah, Paul and BBQ Bob. It was a full house today, it's always humbling to be able to go and visit the families and offer a welcome lunch.

We will remember them.

On Wednesday Paul had the pleasure of receiving a cheque from Club Taree Women's Golf. The cheque was for the funds raised during their annual PINK golf day held in October. They raised an awesome $9193.80. An amazing effort to all involved - thank you all so much, to the committee, the volunteers, the players, the participants and the supporters, together you have made a difference. The money will be donated to the Cancer Council Australia as part of the Club Taree turns PINK campaign. Well Done.

Every Thursday night in Dineon19 - Kids eat FREE!! With each adult purchasing a main meal, receive a kids meal from the menu for free for kids under the age of 10. .

This morning we were delighted to host the recipients of the 2017 Club Taree Tertiary Scholarships. Each scholarship is valued at $2000 and aims to help the recipient with their transition into tertiary education. One scholarship is presented to a student from each of our local secondary schools. Congratulations to the recipients.
