**All about LipSense** LipSense lip colour is waterproof, does not kiss-off, smear-off, rub-off or budge-off! Create your own colour palette by combining/layering shades. There are over 70 shades available and glosses are available in glossy, matte. matte, pearl, glitter and more. Dehydrated and damaged lips are no match for the moisturising ability of Shea Butter, a natural ingredient used as the base for the many textures of LipSense Glosses. Choose from glossy, pearl, matte or shimmering finishes. Moisturising glosses improve the longevity of LipSense Liquid Lip Colour. Starter set including LipSense colour, Ooops remover & Gloss is $74. Additional colours $34 and glosses $26. 1 tube of LipSense colour if worn every day will last around 5 months. 3 LipSense colours = 27 possible colour combinations. Basically the way it works, you apply 3 layers on the colour and then top it with our gloss. You then reapply the gloss as needed to protect the colour and moisturise your lips. The glosses contain Shea Butter and vitamin e so are amazing for your lips. The colours provide no moisture, just pigment ~ all moisture comes from the gloss, they work as a system! LipSense® Long Lasting Liquid Lip Colour is made of a combination of ingredients. Here are a few key components: SD Alcohol 40 - SD Alcohol 40 is nothing close to isopropyl alcohol - or rubbing alcohol. In fact, you need SD Alcohol 40 to apply LipSense® to your skin. Rubbing alcohol instantly removes LipSense® from the skin. (We do not recommend the use of rubbing alcohol on the skin because it dries out the skin.) We formulate LipSense® with SD Alcohol 40 because: It is thinner than water and suspends the tiny particles within the formulae. It evaporates from the skin upon the delivery of the technology to the skin. (The "tingling" sensation felt on the lips, when some wearers first begin to use the colour, is the evaporation process of the SD Alcohol 40. This disappears as lower layers of skin's moisture content are restored from use of the gloss.) Tiny Particles - The particles that help the colour pigments to molecularly bind to the skin (see Ingredient listing). Over time, the particles begin to detach from the skin's surface. The rate at which this occurs varies tremendously and is based upon the pH-balance of any one person's skin and the colour they've chosen to wear for the day. Colour Pigments- Each tube of colour has a varied formulation of which is used to arrive at a single colour - often involving the use of many different colour pigments. Some colours naturally last longer than others as some are thicker or richer in colour pigmentations, while some are sheer and thinner than others. Layering LipSense®- Layering LipSense® is a must due to the fact the colour breaks down with the pH balance of the skin.1st layer - touches the skin's pH and will begin to break down first and fastest.2nd layer - protected from the bottom, away from the skin's pH, by the first layer.3rd layer - protects the second layer from the top down and prevents sheering of second layer of colour by keeping away friction and saliva. No animal testing No animal by-products (100% vegan) Naturally recurring ingredients (e.g. colours come from botanicals/plants and LipSense does not contain lead, wax or lanolin) No individual, external packaging (to help with the environment and to keep costs down) Highly concentrated formulas for greater value.
