Our fabulous children's yoga classes will be taking place as usual on Saturday: 3.45pm - 4.15pm (school years K-2) 4.30pm - 5pm (school year 3-6) The children will have heaps of fun while you pop out for shopping, coffee (adult-time...just imagine!)

How much exercise do we really need? Depending what you read there seems to be vastly different guidelines for the amount of exercise we need per week. Here's our easy rule of thumb: * For General Health: 150 min of moderate activity or 75 min of vigorous activity (moderate being similar to brisk walking, vigorous is similar to running) per week. Or, a combination of both. * Strength Training: For all muscle groups at least twice weekly (enough to fatigue the muscle). * Incidental Exercise: Most importantly it's important to increase your general level of activity - stand rather than sit, take the stairs or walk short distances instead of driving.
