Here we have PT Genet showing us a great lower body workout. All 3 exercises require you to activate your core muscles helping to keep you in good form and posture whilst strengthening your back and legs! Her tips are - keep your chest up for the pistol squats and lunges - for lunges ensure your front knee does not go past your front toes - use your glutes to get the power in the swings, be mindful not to let your arms and shoulders do the work. The momentum should come from your legs! To book a session pop in club and speak to Genet or Club Manager Luke.

This month we'll be fundraising for MS Australia through a series of activities in club, finishing with the MS Fun Run on June 4th at Albert Park. • Multiple sclerosis strikes young people in the prime of their lives, and there is no cure. • MS is the most common disease of the central nervous system in young adults. • Every working day 4 people are diagnosed with MS. • The average age of diagnosis of MS is just 30 years old. Symptoms can include tiredness, blurred vision, loss of balance and muscle coordination, slurred speech, difficulty walking, short-term memory loss, tingling and numbness or in severe cases tremors and paralysis. By fundraising, you are providing vital support services to people living with multiple sclerosis and funding research to find a cure.
