Strength Through Pilates was created from a desire to bring a level of education, accountability and results we felt was missing in the world of Pilates.

We want for you to achieve the goals you set out to achieve, be that strength goals, flexibility goals, weight loss goals, even lifestyle goals.  You are here for a reason, and we want you to see results.

The focus for us is results and the accountability and support that we know everyone needs in order to stay motivated and progress your practice as you improve, and your goals grow and change.

Our Favourite Protein Pancakes. A perfect guilt free and delicious breakfast that leaves nothing to be desired ... except more pancakes INGREDIENTS 1 Banana 25g Quick Oats 1 scoop Vanilla Protein Powder (We love Gold Standard Whey Vanilla) 1 Whole Egg For Decoration 10g Greek Yoghurt 1/4 cup Strawberries Sliced 1 tbsp Maple Syrup INSTRUCTIONS Mash Banana with a fork Combine with protein powder, quick oats, egg, and using a cake mixer or blender, combine all ingredients. Into a hot, non stick frypan**, pour 5-6cm circles of batter free form into the pan Once they are browned and you can loosen the edges, flip and cook for 1 minute, or until browned, on the other side Layer the pancakes with the sliced strawberries to create a stack. Top with yoghurt and remaining strawberries Serve hot with maple syrup on the side **If your frypan is not as "non stick" as it once was, use a small about of coconut oil on a paper towel and rub onto the surface of the frypan.

We hope everyone is enjoying the Festive Season Here is a little recipe we love, as a guilt free version of a Christmas Shortbread. Share the love and let us know how you go. PROTEIN SHORTBREAD INGREDIENTS 250g Butter 70g Caster Sugar 1 cup Quest Protein Multi-Purpose Mix (or preferred protein powder - we also love Gold Standard Vanilla Whey) 1.5 cups All Plain Purpose Plain Flour 1 tbsp Water INSTRUCTIONS 1.) Preheat oven to 160 degrees ​cel​s​ius​​ (320 degrees Fahrenheit) Grease your pan (I use non stick Tupperware because I am ob​s​e​s​sed) 2.) Beat butter and sugar in an electric mixer until creamed (light and fluffy). Then stir in water and sifter flour, and your Protein flavour of choice* until combined. 3.) Knead mixture on a floured surface until smooth (add a dabble more water or flour to get the right consistency) 4.) You can divide the mix​t​ure into 2 x 20cm round trays or do one larger shortbread 5.) Lightly score (mark lines in the shortbread dough) into 12 slices. Prick with a fork and pinch edges if you like. 6.) Bake shortbread for approximately 40 mins. 7.) Once you remove from the oven allow to stand for 5 mins on a baking tray before removing from the tins/tray. 8.) Using a sharp knife cut into wedges along marked lines. Leave to cool and serve. Festive option - Cookie Cut the dough into Christmas shapes and only cook for 25-30mins. * We don't recommend plant protein for this recipe as it is too dry CALORIES AND MACRO'S Per Serving - Calories = 265, Protein = 9.6g, Carbs = 18g, Fat = 17g
