After two big weekends of racing I am pleased to congratulate all our athletes on their respective efforts at both the Met South West Area Championships and this weekends Metropolitan LC Swimming Championships. Respectively we topped the pointscore at the area champs and finished 9th at Metro. These results are a credit to all our swimmers and supporters. Despite the short back up I was impressed by the level of performance displayed by our team, which saw an amazing number of PB’s, State and National qualifying times swum across both meets. Special mention to Megan on winning a Silver and Bronze, Ellie and Luke on their Silver and Kori on her Bronze medal winning performances this weekend. Well done to all of our swimmers and a big thank you to all of our supporters! Regards, GT

Congratulations to Megan Cooper and Brayden Smith on being selected onto the NSW Squad to compete at the upcoming State Teams event in Canberra. They will get the chance to go head to head with some of the best youth swimming talent in the country. This event is like the State of Origin for swimming and is a highly anticipated event on the competitive swimming calendar. To Megan and Brayden, it is always pleasing for a coach to see athletes rewarded for their efforts. Through hard work and some great racing you now have an amazing opportunity. Relax and enjoy the experience. Be grateful for the efforts and support of your team mates around you. Each day they challenge you to be better, as you do them and together we will continue to grow as individuals and as a team. Respect All but Fear No One!!!! Finally, good luck to all of our 12 and under athletes who will be competing this weekend at State. I look forward to watching you all race. Regards A very proud coach.

That's a wrap! After three long days of racing the State SC Swimming Championships have come to an end. Congratulations to our entire team, athletes, team mates and parents on what was a very successful and positive meet. The number of personal bests, top tens and general improvement on entry times was outstanding. Adding to our medal tally from earlier in the weekend Megan came away with a Gold in the 200 Fly and a Bronze in the 100 Free together with another Silver to Brayden in the 400IM. Well done to all our swimmers on a fantastic job. Now we look forward to watching our younger team members who will get their chance to compete at the 12 & Under State Championships in a few weeks time. Regards GT

Day 2 may have come and gone however it has left us with some amazing memories. Yet again our team have performed across the board in all events and distances posting a mass of personal best times and securing medals and top ten finishes through out the day. What was particularly pleasing to me was seeing the majority of the team improve their overall ranking, and the number of non competing team members attending the meet to support their team mates. A special congratulations to our medalists: Brayden Gold 200 Breast and Silver 200 Free Megan Silver 200 & 400 Free & 100 fly Kori Bronze 200 Back. All the best to our team tomorrow on the final day of competition. Regards GT

Night 1 of the NSW Swimming Short Course Championships saw our team start with an almost near perfect sheet of PB's. As a result of these awesome swims we also saw a number of Top Ten performances including Brayden and Kori just finishing outside the medals in their 200m IM's. Congratulations on a great start both individually and as a team. Bring on day 2 and 3!

What a beautiful day for a swim they said!! Then we realised it was from Bondi to Watson's Bay in a 2-3 meter swell. What was meant to be a nice 10km swim turned into a two and a half hour marathon, definitely longer than expected. Congratulations Sofia on an outstanding effort in tough conditions finishing third overall and 2nd in the women's field. A massive thank you to Paul Smith for your time, boat and being an awesome captain/pilot for the day. Without your commitment and generosity, today would not have been possible. To Sofia's support crew, in particular her brother Darcy for paddling with her and keeping her safe and her parents and brother Albert for their commitment to the swim. As a coach I was very proud of you and this awesome achievement. Regards GT
