Yesterday the Sydney Harbour Bridge turned 85 years old! A harbour crossing between Circular Quay and Milsons Point had been discussed from the mid-1800s but construction on the bridge began during the 1920s. It 1,400 men 8 years to build and opened with much fanfare on 19 March 1932.
