FAD FEVER With yesterdays perfect weather forecast and the fortunate circumstances of having a boss who understands the fishing addiction we have, Daniel and I made our way far west towards the FAD's. Upon arrival it didn't take long to spot the brightly coloured Mahi Mahi. The first few efforts of throwing baits were ignored so a mix up was needed. Daniel tied on the Yakamito Sub Minnow and received immediate attention. After a few fish landed on the stick baits they went a little quiet. Another plan of attack was needed, So out came the JSA Laser assists. Whilst originally designed to be used as an assist on vertical jigs they double up as great trolling skirts for Mahi Mahi. They accounted for some great captures whilst being trolled behind the boat. After multiple hook ups and multiple landed fish we called it in. Good crew and awesome conditions equalled a great day. Land based Pink Snapper! Good customer Haydon Crawage has been wetting a line in Mandurah's southern beaches and has been getting some great results! This Pink Snapper is a great effort and an awesome reward for spending time with sand in between the toes. This fish was caught last week. Top work Haydon!
