We've all heard about the devastating fires down south recently and the large number of families impacted by the severity of this fire. If you would like to help those affected, RMFP is collecting donations of toiletries and non perishable food items which will be passed onto the affected families later this month. Every donation helps no matter how small and can be dropped off at the practice. All our hearts go out to those who have been affected by this fire, so let's work together and help them get back on their feet.

DO YOU HAVE EAR PAIN? Ear microsuction is the procedure of choice for ENT specialists to manage wax impaction, ear infections and foreign bodies. It does not carry the risk of creating infection / causing trauma to the skin of the ear canal and ear drum associated with ear syringing. It is therefore safe for patients with a history of ear surgery / hearing aids / recurrent infections or grommets. Microsuction is also considered a vital treatment for otitis externa or swimmer’s ear, to clear discharge and therefore allowing antibiotic ear drops to work effectively. Dr Boon Teh, a GP here at RMFP who has a background in ENT can perform this procedure, saving you having to wait months to see an ENT Specialist. The procedure is also bulk billed so there is no out of pocket expense to you. Dr Teh has been certified in ENT surgical anatomy and has performed this procedure well over 1000 times. He has also worked independently in several London ENT clinics in the past. Call us on 9592 2775 for more information or to book an appointment.
