Good morning everyone. 4th birthing session booked in for 2017 already :). One of the most common questions I get asked is " What is your role" And despite the obvious of taking pictures, it will be different with everyone. Upon meeting my clients it gives us a chance to get to no each other and what your personality is like. You could want me to act like I don't exist which is totally fine, you may want me to give you encouragement which is also fine, you may want me to do the water fetching runs and I am totally down for that! I know my own personality, I love to talk to people, my birth Photographer didn't know me too well beforehand, but i am pretty sure she got my life story by the end ( I blame the gas, i totally blame that haha) I also tried to convince her to con the midwives into giving me an epidural and cried lol, so don't worry, I'm probably my own worst example ;) I don't run a specific order, I go by my clients, birthing is such a personal experience and it deserves me to adhere to each and every one of my clients how they desire <3

I decided in 2014 that I would like to venture into the art of photojournalism after having my own birth photographed and falling in love with the emotion captured that I took for granted during my birth.
