Seaview Christian College is the twelfth and newest addition to the Christian Community Ministries (CCM) group of schools. Seaview Christian College is the twelfth and newest addition to the Christian Community Ministries (CCM) group of schools. We are accredited as a R–12 school and are currently accepting enrolments from Reception to Year 5 for 2016.

Our College has a non-denominational Christian ethos and caters for students from a wide variety of backgrounds. It also caters for families who — though not necessarily Christian themselves — desire a Christian school culture and educational experience for their children. Staff are selected for their professional competence as well as for their sense of calling and passion for Christian schooling.

Our aim is to provide every student with a positive, exciting and solid foundation through the provision of real care and understanding in an environment of quality education. We believe that this combination develops a sense of belonging, security and engagement in school which gives students an excellent launch pad into life.

Our ethos enables us to effectively cater for the social, cultural, spiritual and educational needs of each young person entrusted to us. We offer a commitment to excellence while maintaining affordable tuition fees.

Students enjoyed a visit from the AFC Crows’ Community Development staff, i.e. Nigel and Claude the mascot. Nigel explained the Growing with Gratitude 5 Habits of Happiness and led the students in an interactive quiz with a range of Crows prizes that were handed out. Claude the Crow, well… he was just being Claude the Crow.

On Wednesday evening Seaview families attended an orientation evening. Homework, assessment and classroom routines were discussed. Students and family members enjoyed playing games or watching a movie. The sausage sizzles tasted very nice and a few younger siblings of our school community also got the taste of 'big school'.

Mr Morphett and Mr Altmann have been working hard over the holidays to construct a sandpit underneath the shade structure, complementing the play gym. Students are welcome to try out this new addition to the playground when school starts tomorrow. An e-mail has been sent home regarding uniform days for Term One. School will start at 8:30 am with a whole school assembly and parents are welcome to join us for the assembly. Looking forward to seeing all our Seaview families tomorrow.

Friday night has been A Very Special Night as the stage performance's title suggested. It has been a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the students' achievements and to acknowledge students' contributions and attributes that helped make 2016 a school year worth celebrating. Thank you to the families, students and staff who came together as a school community, united by the joyous atmosphere.
