If a stone is going to get through it will . Poor bugger . He did every thing right but a stone still bounced of his trailer and smashed his back window .

With all this wind around something has to break . This car was parked next to a sunshade when one of the corners of the sunshade broke loose. Bang bang bang it went on the car . Smashing the windscreen and denting the guards , bonnet and roof . We where able to fit a new windscreen and get the car going again but the rest will be up to a panel beater .

This week Jamie Parker fitted a Safari Snorkel to a Hilux . Why fit a Snorkel and is it realy worth it ? . Well then the answer is a big yes . Most 4x4 get the air for the engine from under the front mud guard and right above the front wheel so when you go over any really dusty roads where does that dirt go ? , straight into the air cleaner . That's why every time you service the car you are always fitting a new air cleaner element and for some cars that very expensive . When fitting a Snorkel the engine is getting cleaner air , cooler air and if you go through water you don't have to worry about the engine sucking in water . Another great job done by Jamie .

Had a phone call late this afternoon , there where 3 damsels in distress on the Whyalla hiway with a blown right rear tyre in here VE Commodore SS . Holley and I grabbed a jack and some tools and took of to help . They where only 9 km out so we got there in no time . We jacked up the rear of the car and then the fun begins . We got the spare on the car and got them to follow us back to work where we fitted 2 new tyres and got them back on the road again . Holley was happy as they gave her lots a pats and scratches .

Just giving you the heads up , SAPOL are targeting in roadworthy tyres . We have had two cars in two days with defected . Yes the tyres were un roadworthy .

just had a phone call , customer was about to pass through town on a Friday night about 6:00pm and need 2 tyres urgently as his rear tyres starting to fall apart can we help him out " Hell Yeh " yes we can . Got the car on the hoist and went to put the front tyres to the rear of the car as I always put the new tyres to the front when I had to get a 4 ft bar to lever the wheel nuts of . I tell you , I see this way to often . If this guy had blown a front tyre , there was no way he could undo his nuts on the side of the road . Customer is happy and can keep on going .

Well it's been a busy week and poor Jet had to fit exstractors to 2 Holden Commodores with LS V8's and both of them had broken exhaust manifold bolts on the passenger side cylinder head right at the back " BUGGER" and both had to be drilled out and heli coiled but he got the job done . Very nice work Jet .

The other day we had this car on the hoist , I have never seen a car with some wire holding it together but its ok , the police won't hassel him as he does not drive a Commodore . OMG did I just say that !!! .

had a customer in today with a smashed back window , the funny thing was he fitted a set of rock tamers to his car to stop this from happening
