This is 5 landscape images stitched together with photo software to create a huge 180degree image showing the visible Milky Way band at 2:30am last Sunday evening. I shot this in the mountains of far West China while staying in a Kazakh yurt ⛺️ village overlooking Tianshan Tianchi National Park.
G'day, I've been working on something a little different the last few weeks. Let me know what you think. Photo taken around Christmas at the Dunes just South of the Pinnacles in Nambung National Park.
This tremendous view in Tasmania's South West Wilderness Region is your first glimpse of Lake Oberon. Should you choose, a brisk 15km hike through muddy lowlands for a day followed by an ascent up to the Western Arthur's range will leave you with a day of traversing to reach this spectacular location. The weather is not so fair with the prevailing winds bringing in rain and low cloud faster than you can put your camera away. However besides all the hard yakka and soaked terrain some of the views on this hike will leave you disbelieving you are still in Australia. I've been here twice and I can't wait for the next time 😉
