Genestealer Cults Conversions by Chris Peach Kit-bash extraordinaire and hobby master Chris Peach, from our Warhammer studio painting team has been at it again, this time showing us what can be done with some simple bits swaps using the new Genestealer Cults upgrade pack mixed with various Tempestus Scions pieces. There’s lots of great inspiration here for your own Genestealer Cults force, and we thought these guys looked fantastic.

Talons of the Emperor in the 41st Millennium Clad in baroque, golden artificer armour and armed with priceless relic weaponry, the Talons of the Emperor are joining the battlefields of the 41st Millennium. Rules for using the elite Adeptus Custodes, Sisters of Silence, their vehicles and two brand new detachments (one each) in your games of Warhammer 40,000 will be available very soon, both in this box set and as separate digital downloads. The personal bodyguards of the Emperor himself have come to quell the Gathering Storm; this is your chance to lead them into battle.

Ebon-clad alien hunters The new Deathwatch upgrade sprue gives you the parts you need to turn any multi-part plastic Space Marines into members of the elite Deathwatch. We had a chat to converter, kitbasher and all round hobby-wizard Chris Peach from our studio painting team, to see what was possible when mixing the kit with sets from the Space Marines range, and we were not disappointed: These guys were made using the new Deathwatch upgrade frame with the Sternguard Veterans kit, the Mk III armour from Burning of Prospero and a Space Marine from a Devastator Squad. Next week we’ll show you what he’s done with the Genestealer Cults upgrade pack.
Rise of the Primarch
I can't wait for this one

The Storm Breaks; A Primarch Rises This weekend is a big one for Warhammer 40,000. Not only do we see the climactic final instalment in the Gathering Storm trilogy (yes, it’s a trilogy), we also see a loyal Primarch return to the 41st Millennium, and he is not happy… Rise of the Primarch sees the Avenging Son, Lord of Ultramar, Master of Macragge and the Primarch of the Ultramarines and all their Successors – Roboute Guilliman himself – rise from his millennia-long stasis to face the gathering storm. For those of you following the story so far, the galaxy is not in a good place – Cadia has fallen, a craftworld has fractured, traitors pour from the Eye of Terror and daemons spill through rents in reality across the Imperium. Even for a Primarch, saving the day is going to be a big ask. But he is not alone… Alongside this awesome new book is a trio of some of the best Warhammer 40,000 miniatures we’ve ever seen. The big guy is in there, of course, and Guilliman is accompanied by a champion of the Grey Knights, Grand Master Voldus, Warden of the Librarius – and then there’s Cypher, lost son of fallen Caliban. Together, these three heroes of the Imperium are the Triumvirate of the Primarch. There’s loads of other stuff in the book too. As well as some pretty awesome narrative twists (that we’ll not spoil for you here) there’s loads of new rules content. The ability to add the three new heroes to your games is in there, of course, as well as new rules for a dedicated Ultramarines army in the form of new formations, relics and Warlord Traits. There are also daemonic adversaries rules for the forces of the Grey Knights, usable by almost anyone fighting against the warriors of Titan, and rules for units of Fallen Angels to accompany Cypher.
