Marketing & Events Co-ordinator Job Description: We are looking for a Marketing & Events Co-ordinator who will provide effective leadership to a vibrant and growing Marketing and Sales Team. Based in Parramatta Sydney, you will working with a prominent Christian College who is at the forefront of equipping leaders of influence in Business, Education and Theology/Ministry. This role is for a dynamic, mature, and organised person who will be responsible for coordinating the organisation’s marketing activities including maintaining and building stakeholder relationships and; organizing major and minor events throughout the year. An ideal role for a Communications/Media/Marketing graduate who has had 3 – 5 years’ experience or more working in a similar role. The role reports directly to the Director of Marketing. A good understanding of the Pentecostal Church would be preferred. Essential Criteria • Proven leadership skills. • Self-starter with excellent time management skills and the ability to effectively prioritize and organize projects or tasks. • Group facilitation and interpersonal skills. Proven success building relationships, influencing stakeholder decisions, and promoting collaboration and teamwork. • Attention to detail. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Able to think outside the box and is a natural problem solver. • An approachable person who is calm under pressure with a can-do attitude. • Team player but can work autonomously who is able to work within a growing Marketing team to achieve results. • Proficiency in computer applications, including experience with database applications, MS Word and Excel. • Ability to travel and work outside of office hours. • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications or media or direct and applicable work experience of 3 – 5 years. Role: • Provide leadership to the Marketing Team to ensure coordination and implementation of marketing strategies. • Facilitate and work collaboratively with Campus Directors, Faculty Heads, Managers and Teams to coordinate and deliver marketing strategies. • Development, production and delivery of projects from proposal right up to delivery. • Deliver Marketing activities including events on time and within budget. • Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project. • Leading and assisting with the preparation of Marketing collateral for conferences, external & internal events. • Travelling to on site inspections and project managing events if necessary. • Being responsible for all project budgets from start to finish. • Ensuring excellent customer service and quality delivery. • Communicating, maintaining and developing stakeholder relationships. • Managing supplier relationships. • Managing operational and administrative functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently. • Commitment to the Christian values of the College.
