19.5.17 @ 18:22. Pump 417 responded to arcing powerlines in Pine Road, the crew rendered the area safe and waited for Essential Energy to arrive, the scene was then handed over to Essential and Pump 417 returned to station.

Congratulations to Craig Gould on his appointment to rank of Engine Keeper. Craig has over 30 years experience in the automotive industry which should come in handy for all the attention Pump 417 requires. We wish him well with his new role. A big Thank You to Craig Buckle who has put in many hours of work over the last couple of years as previous Engine Keeper. We all appreciate Craig Buckle's efforts.

13.5.17 at 19:48 Pump 417 responded with the RF to a pile of vegetation on fire, the fire was extinguished. 13.5.17 at 21:09 Pump 417 responded to assist ambulance for a gentleman that fell over in his kitchen. The crew of 417 helped carry the patient out and he was conveyed to Parkes Hospital.

6.5.2017 @ 10:30, Pump 417 took part in a joint exercise with other emergency services for a combined plane crash scenario at Parkes Airport. All went well with all the services working together to rescue the pilot and contain the chemical spill.Thanks to everyone that attended.

1.5.17 @ 7:00 am Pump 417 was called to a 2 car mva on the corner of eugowra rd and nash st.No persons were trapped, one driver transported to hospital.Crew made sure area was safe and there was no fluids leaking into the culvert.

27.4.17 @ 10:47 Pump 417 was responded to help the ambo's with a elderly patient lift. All went well for the patient and crews and he was transported to hospital.
