This one of the top three gardens in Japan. First started in early 1600's and built over 200 years, these gardens offer much inspiration for big and small landscaping projects. Particularly impressive is the use of rock and water as important aspects in a successful design. Pathways, fencing, buildings all work in harmony! Note the use of poles and rope is to combat the weight of snow.... happily a job we dont have to think about! These gardens would be even more impressive in Spring and Summer. Apologies for double-ups as using IE on foreign computer and network.... great speed but unhappy collaboration.

And that's why they call them Flamethrower Palms! Chambeyronia macrocarpa. New growth is fire red. Best grown in part shade, a fantastic talking point for the subtropical garden. We currently have them in a range of sizes, from very small to very large. Come and check them out!

Fantastic rain across Brisbane this week. Welcome reprieve to the 34°C weeks we've been having! Weeks like these are a great time to get new plants in the ground. The mild temps and abundant moisture really helps them get started. So come on in and check out our new stock. As usual, we've got something for everyone.
