Long Island this morning 👌🏼☀️️🚤 There seems to be a lot of confusion about the river conditions atm. It’s worth considering things vary A LOT depending where on the river system you are located! MURRAY BRIDGE RIVER REPORT: - Current level is 1.02m which is only 27cm up on normal level (it’s predicted peak a mere 8cm above current level on 28/12/16) - All boat ramps & ski beaches open - Debris in the water has been minimal around MB however always keep an eye out (being levy banks down this end there isn’t much more that can be dragged into river during high flow event) - Water colour is a dark brown rather than normal light brown (SA Health advises there is no additional risk) - The flow is higher than normal, however manageable (Allowances need to be made when docking, beaching or loading onto boat trailer) We have been out on the water daily as usual around MB and conditions have been great! Get out there and enjoy but as always respect the river and take care.
