We were having Bruce Burleigh talk on Wisteria as Bonsai in October but as they are now flowering we decided to make it this month. Please bring along any Wisteria you have as bonsai to show off, also any you may be thinking of training as bonsai. This month’s demo on Mountain making by JoAnn, Ali and Zyggy is now in October.
Melbourne Orchid Spectacular.
The Waverley Bonsai Group was invited to display. If you like orchids i suggest you go, you will not be disappointed. Naturally you can spend a few hard earned dollars.

The year is 360 again, the winter solstice is well passed and it's just over 4 weeks till spring. The Waverley Show is on! A large display of all levels of trees, demonstrations, advice for those that have been given Bonsai but are not sure, lots of friendly like minded people sharing their art, sales of pots, plants tolls and lots more. Not to be missed!

Goldfields Bonsai Society - Sale & Bonsai get together day. 19th June 12 till 3 West End Hall, View Street Castlemaine 3450 GBS members will be holding a pleasant sale day with an emphasis on "get together". There will be Trees of all sizes and description, pots, classic and custom, tools and equipment etc Some items will be pre loved so have fun and make an offer. In the afternoon we will serve a pleasant afternoon tea to allow past and present members and all our friends to catch up and chat about Bonsai. There will be a small Bonsai display with a slide show of past members and club events. Please come along and share in a Bonsai Get Together. All Welcome.
