The Western Australian government deregulated the fees that settlement agents can charge, effective from the 3rd February 2016. Settlement agents must disclose their service fee, taxes, registration fees, duties and disbursements, in writing. Additional charges can only be applied to a settlement if there are unforeseen issues that arise. At Absolutely Settlements, we always provide a detailed written quote and explain every charge.
