Bullpit Boxing is a boxing club focusing on starting the developing young boxers in the Mount Isa region. An open, welcoming gym for new and old. Bullpit Boxing is a boxing gym created to develop young and budding boxers. We provide a safe, respectful and encouraging environment for people to learn the better skills that boxing has to offer. Our trainers are certified and have years of experience in the Mount Isa region and know what it takes to get the best out of you, physically but just as important, mentally.
Above all, safety is our main concern. We never put anyone in a situation where they are likely to be injured or embarrassed. Our training program focuses on building our fighters up to box with intelligence and confidence. We do not tolerate any sort of discriminatory or belittlement in our gym. We do not tolerate fighting outside of sanctioned events. Members of Bullpit Boxing are a team and help each other on the road to improvement.

MONDAY & WEDNESDAY Private Group Beginners Boxing Class - 4:50pm - 5:50pm Adult beginners Boxing Fun Group - 6pm - 7pm TUESDAY & THURSDAY Kids & Juniors Boxing Class - 4:50pm - 5:50pm Adult Advance Boxing Class - 6pm - 7pm FRIDAY Free session - Adult Boxing Groups sparring & catch up training - 5pm - 7pm SATURDAY Free session - Kids & Juniors Boxing Group sparring & catch up session - 11am - 12pm Membership Fees - Adult - $80 a month / 4 weeks Kids & Juniors - $60 a month / 4 weeks Limited spaces only, if interested let us know ASAP to confirm spot. Its sign up week! Starting today we are kicking off our next rounds of new classes. Don't worry if you cant make today, you can still join up on Tuesday or Thursday next week. 6 weeks of training with us will give you a solid understanding of the fundamentals of boxing with the option to continue your training if you choose. Come down, learn the basics and get stuck into it!

The North West Star will be down tomorrow at 6pm during sparring to report on the upcoming tournament in Barcaldine. It would be great to see not only those who are sparring or competing but everyone from our club to get a group photo! See you all at 6pm tomorrow!
For our fighters travelling down to Barcaldine on the 28th of this month. Just got off the phone to Brad Smith from the Cloncurry PCYC. We will be travelling down in the bus with their fighters. Accomodation is free at the showground, we will be camping in the pavilion. I will need your current weights to give to Richard Allman so he can match you up. I have knocked together a few training plans for the next few weeks, which includes your conditioning, road running and technical training schedule. You will be receiving extra technical classes to prepare you for your upcoming fights, I will talk to you about it when we see you at training. We will be stepping up the intensity of your training, it is important to train hard, eat well and sleep good for the next few weeks. Bring to training your mouthguard. We will be training with it in from now on. See you in the gym.

Hi everyone, just a quick update. Our 6:30pm classes will now be held at 6:40pm. This is for both our female adult classes and the Junior (12-18 y/o) classes.
SNEAK PEEK! Bullpit Boxing Training Program Stance & Footwork Learn how to move around opponents in the ring. The proper boxing stance and footwork allows you to punch, defend, and move with ease. Straight Punches Straight punches are the fastest and safest ways to hit your opponent. Learn the fundamentals of effective punching. How to throw the jab, right cross, and the basic 1-2 combination.
