Something are just not serviceable 😂😂

Been a great year for servicing reels , nothing better than keeping people fishing , wishing all my customers and friends a very merry Christmas and happy new year ......and remember ! what ever you do to your gear over the holidays we can fix it

A reel I found a few months ago , 12 year old penn 20T , giving it a much need service even though it has never been used , the old grease has gone thick and sticky and it will be much better with the old grease out and the new grease in

Sorry for the lack of pictures lately , have been busy doing services ..... best news is work bench is now empty if you need servicing ASAP

This is why I hate okuma salina's , stupid oval gears in crap quality alloy casting with the reel body open underneath a plastic end cap , soon as this reel hits the water it's the beginning of the end

Lots of work needed on this Stella SW , new carbon drag and lots of corrosion to deal with , but a great result in the end

Stella 20,000 FA , getting hard to find parts for these now , managed to source a new bail arm from the US to get this one running again

What lies beneath , perfect from the outside but corrosion has done its work well on the Stella 20000 FA , luckily I found a new bail wire in the US , Shimano only have to stock parts for 10 years and Stella FA's are from 2004 and parts are getting thin

This area needs more attention from new , always corrosion here on bait runner reels

When you service reels you love the classics , I have been looking for 20 lb class reel for a while and couldn't believe my eyes when I came across the is 12 year old brand new in the box Penn 20t .... best $300 I ever spent 👍👍
