It's EAST v WEST at PERTH's Ultimate Burnout Challenge TODAY. It's a rare sight to behold, with truckloads of beasts all the way from the East Coast battling the west's best! Competition starts at midday with the major Burnout Masters qualifying showdown scheduled for 8.30pm.

It has been a very Black Friday the 13th for the burnout family. Our thoughts are with 1FATRAT, 3FIVE5, FRASHR and OVERCAST. Their cars have suffered catastrophic fire damage on the road to the Ultimate Burnout Challenge in Western Australia. Competitors in this sport always go out on a limb to put on a show for fans around this huge country, but this is not the way anyone wants to go out. Let's hope they can come back bigger and stronger. Show them some support, and share some of your awesome memories they've already created!

Matt James has done it again in Western Australia, taking out his fourth consecutive win, this time with COMPACT on Good Friday. Crazy still, he's repeated the Summernats 1 and 2 - but in reverse... with UNWANTED following up. Talk about consistency. Since both of Matt's cars are already Burnout Masters qualified, CONGRATULATIONS are in order to 3rd placed Fred Watson (FEAR) and 4th Anthony Page (PAGEY). Both very seasoned contenders who've now earned their Golden Tickets to the Summernats 32 Burnout Masters. We all know they'll be ready to rock the block!
