BACC Blue Jeans Day - Community Clean Up

We look forward to rolling up our sleeves with you tomorrow! The weather is looking good, so we shall proceed as planned.... ACTIVITY 2 Collecting rubbish from a public space Location: Meet at the Blackburn Bowls Club (65 Pakenham St, Blackburn) Contact person: Mitch Courtney 0411 884 447 Time: 10.00am to 12.00pm What to bring: - A pair of gloves - Water bottle, hat, sunscreen - Weather appropriate clothes and closed in shoes - A smile and your best joke ACTIVITY 1 - SOLD OUT! Assisting a local group of volunteers to prepare garden beds and clean up around the Blackburn Sanctuary Lake. Location: The lake is off Central Rd, Blackburn. The entrance to the car park is opposite Gwenda Ave (just up the road from Nunawading Christian College!) Contact person: Kristin Judd 0409 918 885 Meeting point: At the visitors centre. Time: Please arrive at 9:15am to sign in and be allocated an area. This activity will wrap up around 11.30am with morning tea (as is the custom of the volunteers we are joining J). What to bring: - Please bring a pair of gardening gloves (let Kristin know if you don’t have any) - Wear comfortable weather appropriate clothing and shoes - Water bottle, hat, sunscreen - Something to share for morning tea (perhaps not everyone needs to contribute, so please post on here if you plan to bring some tasty morsels)

As part of our Blue Jeans Service day one project option is to donate blood. We have secured 11 spots at the Melbourne donor centre from 10:15am to 12pm.
