The Rotary Club of Glenferrie was chartered in 1975 and is one of 67 Rotary clubs in District 9800 Victoria Australia. We meet on Tuesdays, 6:00pm for 6:30pm at:
Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club
489 Glenferrie Road Kooyong

Meetings conclude at around 7:30pm
We promise a warm welcome for guests and visiting Rotarians, so why not do a make-up with us. Glenferrie is part of the inner eastern suburb of Hawthorn, 6km from the centre of Melbourne.
We run a monthly Farmers' Market and endeavour to have a lively and interesting number of speakers at our weekly meetings.

The two School Captains of the Ashburton Primary School outlined their plans for the establishment of a herb garden at the school, to be cultivated by the Grade 3s, at the meeting of the RC of Chadstone East Malvern on March 15th. The initiative of school principal Natalie Nelson, the planned program has received strong support from the School Council, the Rotary Club of Chadstone East Malvern and the Rotary Club of Glenferrie. RC of Chadstone East Malvern presented the students with a cheque for $2,000, 'seed money' for the new garden. Well done kids! The next meeting of the club will focus on a contemporary issue that has received much attention in recent years. Jenny Yates is a passionate advocate for children caught in the web of domestic violence. Author of the book 'The Vine Bleeds', Jenny's presentation will provide an insight into family violence in society, some of her personal experiences and her road to personal healing as a victim of family violence. https://thevinebleeds.wordpress.com/

The Boroondara Farmers' Market celebrated its 14th Birthday on March 18th with a special bbq for stallholders and friends. The BBQ was generously donated by Bunnings Warehouse Hawthorn, with stallholders Lockton Farm, VBKitchen, Grand Ridge Brewery and fruit stall Dellboard all donating some of their produce to satisfy the throng.
