Megaglow YOGA is evolving… more time slots and classes. Instructor Meg Summers has over 18 years of experience!! Megaglow Yoga aims to bring wellness into the community by offering yoga classes locally in Kwinana at the beautiful Labyrinth Mosaics Studio in Medina.
There are so many demands placed upon us with work, family and social commitments that sometimes we struggle to give ourselves the space we need. This space is not so far away as it often seems and can be easily accessed and maintained with a regular yoga practice.
Yoga is an meditative practice that combines breath and movement, it improves circulation, joint mobility, increases core strength and most importantly teaches its student the art of mediation.

Bright and early, for a Saturday anyway 😉 Tomorrow's class runs from 8:00-9:30am and combines breathing techniques, movement and relaxation. Variations are given for different levels of experience, strength and flexibility.
Yoga Balance Variations
Balance is not just about standing on one leg, it is also about the ability to sense the position of your body in space. It is challenging at first but for most of us improves with practice. In this video I have demonstrated how to practice Parsva Trivikrumasana at different levels or maybe just on different days, depending on how you are feeling on a particular day. Most importantly, while practicing yoga, listen to and follow the rhythm of your body, let the mind be quiet and let your energy move like a gentle stream of flowing water.

Such a beautiful morning for yoga at Labyrinth, with such lovely people. Here we are practicing a form of uddiyana bandha, it improves digestion and increases blood flow to the heart and lungs.
Vinyasa Beginner Course
Commencing this month at Megaglow Yoga is the Vinyasa Beginner Course on Tuesday 28th March at 6.00pm and the Gentle Flow Course on Thursday 23rd March at 7.15pm. In the seven week Vinyasa Beginner Course you will learn an energetic sequence of yoga postures that increase flexibility, core stability and the overall strength of your body. Yogic techniques that improve postural awareness, breath awareness and meditational awareness will be covered in detail. When new to yoga or getiing back into it after a break it's important to get good instruction from an experienced and qualified teacher, Meg Summers has been practicing yoga for 18 years and has 15 years of teaching experience. Every Tuesday from 6.00-7.00pm at 14 Seabrook Way, Medina. Cost $126 or $105 concession. All eqipment provided. Private Health Fund Rebates available.
