H O L T. has moved from abstract expressionism in charcoal and acrylic, through finely tuned portrait on canvas, various toothed papers and hessian, to highly textured figurative works. She uses a combination of traditional and non-traditional techniques combined with a meticulous composition to create a sophistication that is thoughtful and distinct.

H O L T. is best known for female portraits and her ‘fill me up’ wine series. She enjoys exploration with various mediums and is expert in capturing movement using gestural lines within a limited palette. Reputation and recognition was built with the Pro Hart 1st Prize winning ‘Black Beauties’.
