Description
Bilingual/bicultural support to children from CALD, Aboriginal, refugee and humanitarian backgrounds and children with disabilities & their families. Formerly called The Casual Ethnic Workers Pool, The Bicultural Support Program is run by Ethnic Child Care Family and Community Services Co-operative for Children Services Central. BSP provides support and additional resources to eligible children’s services to assist with the inclusion of children from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse backgrounds (CALD), Refugee and Indigenous Children.

Another successful Focus Group held in partnership with South Western Sydney Local Health District who have done such an amazing job getting their Munch & Move brochure translated and checked with us for cultural appropriateness!
What an honour it was yesterday to have Sarah Mitchell MLC, Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, Minister for Early Childhood Education, Assistant Minister for Education join us yesterday @ Summer Hill Children's Centre to view our unique Acknowledgement of Country in action. A credit to the staff and families at Summer Hill Children's Centre for creating such respectful little people and providing a high quality inclusive early childhood program. We thank you Minister for taking the time out to visit us and hear about our Bicultural Support Program too. Best wishes for baby number 2!
