Today the our Jumping Jacks engaged in exploring the sustainable environment. First the children participated in a group discussion about sustainable practices in the home as well as at childcare including recycling, composting, saving water etc. Then it was time to become an "environmental explorer", Working in groups of three the children set out to explore the centre environment and identify sustainable practices. Each child used their own clip board and tally sheet to mark them as they went. After gathering the information the children shared what they discovered.
