GREEN FLEET STARTS THIS SUNDAY! Students who have completed Tackers at LSC are invited you back to the club for our new Green Fleet starting this Sunday the 22nd of January. Green fleet prepares participants for racing and also provides a non-competitive option for those who prefer not to race. Sailing your own boat or a club boat, Green Fleet is run by qualified club instructors. If weather permits, green fleet will be held on the main club course, using a shorter mark and course, or within Rose Bay as a training session. The 'coach' will follow the participants around the course, assisting and coaching. Green fleet is free for club members and for those who have recently completed a Tackers 2 or Tackers 3 course at LSC. We will run Green Fleet each Sunday that we have club racing. Participants should arrive before 12:00pm to rig up their boats, and the instructor will hold a short briefing at around 12:30pm. Green Fleet participants will get on the water just after the racing sailors and will usually come in before the racing sailors return. Please email us at lindisfarnesailingclub@gmail.com should you have any queries!
