Yoga Chi Gung

A beautifully designed class based on energetic work from Chi Gung, strengthening and stretching from various forms of Yoga and Pilates, and awareness of posture and movement from Alexander Technique and Feldenkrais, combined in a balanced and potent way, conducive to health and healing.
This class increases energy levels, reduced blood pressure and heart rate, strengthens the back, core, legs and joints, and increases flexibility, while improving muscle tone, body shape and alignment.

When:   Mondays    6.00pm – 7.30pm  
Wednesdays   10.00am – 11.30am
   
Fat burning, strengthen and stretch class

Fat burning exercise routines, based on the latest scientifically proven methods of high intensity training (HIT), combined with strength work for the core, spine, arms and legs, and gentle stretching exercises to lengthen and relax the muscles. Benefits include reducing the risks of diabetes, heart disease, cancer and dementia, improved fitness and weight loss. This class is a culmination of years of research and experience in the fitness and health industry.      

When:    Mondays    5.30 – 6pm    just before   YCG

      Fridays    10.30am – 12.00 noon       
      
Where:   Most classes are held at the
      Kingaroy Town Common Hall, Oliver Bond St.
(Opposite the tennis courts. Check for occasional venue alternatives.)

Both classes are followed by a calming and centring relaxation.
   
These classes are suitable for males and females of any age or ability level, and are personally tailored to abilities of each member.

Janine, your teacher is a Health and Physical Education Teacher, Yoga Chi Gung and Tai Chi Gung Teacher, Ayurvedic Diet and Lifestyle Consultant and Diversional Therapist, and has over 30 years experience teaching various therapeutic exercise modalities.

Hi everyone All classes will recommence at the Town Common Hall from tomorrow, Monday 26th June. When I checked in on Friday the hall seemed to be finished, but painting equipment still about the hall. Let’s hope it’s all ‘go’ by tomorrow evening. Looking forward to seeing you again soon. Janine

Hi everyone Our lovely hall is about to be made EVEN LOVELIER ! But, that means we will need to move out for a couple of weeks. Renovations on the TCH will affect the following classes: All Monday, Wednesday and Friday classes, from and including Monday June 5th until Friday June 23rd. Our alternative venue will be the Town Hall in Glendon St. (I know it won’t be quite as nice, but it will be worth the wait) Also, please note the following class cancellations: Wednesday 7th June YCG and HIIT (Sorry about this.....LCCH visit!)
