Thanks to Andrew Lerch and Good Price Pharmacy Warehouse for sponsoring Opening Day at Kingaroy today. A good field, a cooler day, and the course in great condition made for enjoyable golf. Jan Edwards, pictured receiving her prize from Andy Lerch, won the Women's competition with 40 points.
Opening Day 2017 is on Sunday 22 January. Good Price Pharmacy Warehouse is sponsoring the day- many thanks to Andrew. Names need to be in by 11:00am so a draw can be done and the shot gun start can hit off at 11:30am sharp, after Patron Les Young hits the first shot of the season down Number 10 fairway. Course is looking great- see you there.
Kingaroy Golf Club Women's Opening Day is on this coming Thursday 19 January. We will be playing a 2 person Ambrose, draw for partners, hit off at 8:30am, so names in by around 8:00am. We will probably have a 12 hole comp, followed by a short meeting, but we will see how the weather is on the day. Hope to see all the girls there.
