A huge thank you to all the parents who volunteered to help supervise the end of year event. It was a great afternoon and without you all it could not have happened.

REMINDER Do not forget to bring your wristbands to the end of year event tomorrow. No wristband, no rides. We are looking forward to a fun (and hopefully dry) afternoon.

##extra information in comments### Dear KPS parents, we understand your disappointment in not being to purchase tickets for the Year End Event after the closing date. If we added the extra children who have asked for tickets we would need to expand the event. It is not possible to do that at this late stage, as all details needed to be finalised with the vendor last Friday. This is the first year we are organising the event and we are doing the best we can within the constraints we are operating under. We are always looking for more volunteers to improve and expand on P&C events. To have a say in the planning and implementation of events like this, come join us at our meetings during weeks 3 and 7 of each term. We are taking all comments, concerns and yes, criticisms into account for next year if the event continues going forward. The family has since recovered the helmet, but if anyone has information of its whereabouts could you please let the school office know or message our page.

Calling all volunteers for the End of Year Event. We are still looking to fill a few spots for parents to supervise rides, but our greatest need now is for help on Friday and/or Monday to help prepare the Event Meal. Don't forget swimming starts tomorrow. Make sure you pack goggles, towel etc. and label everything. Kids can come to school with their bathers on under their uniform if they wish or change at school. Avoid one piece swimsuits for younger girls who might struggle getting in and out of them during their school day. And remember to pack undies for when they change back in to their uniforms at the end of the lesson!

Calling all moms and dads who are coming along to the end of year school event on December 12th... We need a few more volunteers to help supervise the rides to ensure everyone is kept safe. Please let us know if you can assist. 30 minutes is all we need. Thank you!!!

Two quick reminders everyone. There is a Netball meeting this evening from 7pm in the staff room. Parents with kids in year 1 to 6 welcome to come along to be part of the conversation about next year's planning. And remember to get your tickets for the end of year event. Cash sales end tomorrow so get in quick!

It was an exciting reveal of the new school polo at assembly on Friday and although orders for other uniform are now closed, you can still order our lovely new polo and have it in time for 2017! Remember it is our last opening day for the year on Tuesday 29th from 3 - 3:40pm 😊
