Buying a franchise is no easy decision and I am fully aware of the financial pressures that are inherent on families of today. We do have options when buying a franchise and I thought I would share them with you so you can plan your future, one I hope is with Jim’s Mowing, maybe not now but in the future when the time is right. My recommendation at this time of the year coming into winter would be to buy an establish business with clients which sells for around $30,000. This along with $15,000 in set up cost including trailer and equipment brings the total financial commitment to $45,000. This can be reduced by renting your trailer and equipment for approx. $80 per week instead of buying it out right reducing the total financial commitment by $9,000 to $36,000. We also have a cheaper option again of a New franchise for $22,000 with no clients. This type of franchise is more suitable to buy at the start of spring when work is plentiful and new franchisees have a greater opportunity to build their regular client base. Once again along with $15,000 in set up cost including trailer and equipment brings the total financial commitment to $37,000 This also can be reduced by renting your trailer and equipment for approx. $80 per week instead of buying it out right reducing the total financial commitment by $9,000 to $28,000.
