Customer wanted their new dining table for Christmas - just finished this morning. New original design - Discreet Dining Chair Very comfortable when you try - you pretty much only use the lower half of a chair. But, the neat modern look gives the dining room a great look.

New Platform Bed for Adelaide client. 300mm wide rails in solid tasmanian oak. Inspired design by client. I like their daring simplicity and breaking from the norm with no bedhead.

Encore coffee table in Jarrah with oil finish. Sanded to 1200 grit to make sure the end grain comes up perfect. The top is little over 50mm thick. Very heavy to lift - on the upside, it will be heavy to lift for 100+ years.

Tasmanian Oak vs American Oak The single piece across the table top is Tasmanian Oak. The local product is much straighter and less waste. But the American Oak has more neutral tones staying away from the pink and greens. If you prefer to Tasmanian Oak...good news... it is a LOT cheaper!

I have been busy... 1/ I have half made storage for 140 dozen wine bottles. 2/ I made a lunar module for a 200kg buffet. 3/ I also made storage for 1 wine bottle - equivalent to two cases of wine - the 18 litre Melchior.
