At Team Elite Physio, we place a big focus on injury prevention through thorough assessment. We pride ourselves on giving our clients an analysis of their strength and biomechanical insufficiencies and the implications this may have on their daily life and training.
We specialise in the assessment and management of children and adolescent conditions and run a number of programs specific to this area of physiotherapy. These include, but are not limited to, biomecahanical analysis, athlete development, motor retraining and strength & conditioning. Our clinicians also have a vested interest in working with those with special needs.
At our clinic on Hampton Street, we have a number of Med-X Medical Strengthening Machines, including the Lumbar Extension Machine. This machine allows us to assess a patient’s lumbar strength objectively against normative data and strengthen the lumbar paraspinals in isolation, which has been proven through literature to help many patients suffering from low back pain.
Not only do we have specialised equipment, our team have years of experience working with sport and biomechanics as well as strength and conditioning. This includes injury prevention as well as management and rehabilitation for a variety of conditions.
