Ooranga is a non-profit charity managed by a volunteer committee with funding provided by the NSW Department of Education, Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet and NSW Department of Family and Community Services.

I would like to take this time to wish all Ooranga members and their families a fantastic Christmas and a very happy new year. Thankyou for all your generous support over the past 12 months in the 2016 fundraising stakes. Money raised in the bulb fundraiser at the start of the year has allowed us to purchase Febergus, who will be appearing in a preschool near you soon! We also ran the Woolworths BBQ, sent out Scholastic bookclub catalogues (rewards from this allow for purchases of books, puzzles and games through Scholastic) and once again we have been well supported in the Educational Experience, Parent Direct and Chalk toy catalogues - vouchers from these will be spent in the new year. Without your continued support we would not be able to purchase new resources for the Toy Library - these resources are then available for preschool and playgroup use together with being borrowed through the library. Ooranga would like to announce the winner of the 2016 Member Satisfaction Survey prize. While you were able to remain anonymous, those who so wished could enter their name at the end and go into the draw for a $100 Karen Carter gift voucher.
