facebook.comMessage from Todd. G'day all. After recently being reappointed for season 2017 along with Jason Wright as the new reserves coach, I was hoping to have spoken to everyone by now about next year. For a number of reasons this hasn't happened and with xmas/ new year not far away most people have lots going on. I know Randall and Cam have been speaking to a few. Anyway pre season will start mid January, dates will be announced soon. I know most have been doing something and will be ready to go. Also a get together will be organised prior to the first training. So best wishes to all for xmas/ new year and we will all catch up soon. Cheers Todd.
We have some fantastic news to share with our players, members and supporters for the Season 2017. Todd Butler will return to coach the A Grade and Jason Wright has been appointed to coach the Reserves. Todd will also assist Jason and Jason will assist Todd. Congratulations to these two on their coaching appointments and we are excited and look forward to seeing these two and their coaching team working together in 2017. Stay tuned for the Junior Coaching appointments to follow soon in the New Year and more information to follow in regards to pre-season training.

AGM 2016 - THE CLUB NEEDS YOU! Hi all players and supporters We hope you are enjoying your break from footy and had an enjoyable 2016 season with the EBFC. It was a very successful year both on and off the field with 3 of 4 teams making the finals, and our A Grade making the Grand Final, and the Club hosting the day. We are looking for bigger and better things in 2017. This Thursday 17th November at 8pm is the Club Annual General Meeting (AGM). At this meeting you can find out how the Club is tracking financially, and what plans are in store for the future. Also it is an opportunity for you to become a Committee Member of the Club, and have a say in the future of the Encounter Bay Football Club. There are a number of general Committee positions available for nomination this year. There are also some major positions that need to be filled. Sharon Crispin (after 10 years or so in the role) will be leaving in December to pursue an employment opportunity interstate. Her role is Club Treasurer, and we need someone to fill this position for the remaining 1 year term. Russell Pratt (after 6 years in the role) has moved out of the district back to Adelaide. We need someone to fill his role of Club Secretary. The position of Vice President is also up for nomination as well. Without people helping out the Club, there will be no Club. If you would like to nominate for a position on the Committee, or just want to find out what you can do to help please feel free to contact any of the following people - Randall Neale 0407 530716, Cam Hallett 0401 987240, Sharon Crispin 0400 636636, or Russell Pratt 0405 373775. We hope to see as many people as possible at the Club this Thursday. the AGM commences at 8pm. P.S. It's YOUR Club - what can you do to help?
