It was a pleasure to bake for a dear friends little girl today!!!! We delivered to Bella Vista this tall and heavy tower of cake for little Naisha! The bottom tier was delicious chocolate and top being caramel mud. A Peppa Pig themed cake with toy toppers to be added at the party and kept for a very long time I imagine! Happy birthday gorgeous xx

Late Wednesday afternoon it was revealed that a lovely lady at work was having a birthday Friday. She is the kind of person who helps everyone, checks to see if you are ok, settling in well, and just gives you a big warm hello everyday. These are the people you want in your life. These are the people who make coming to work easy! So I made her this chocolate mud cake, covered in chocolate buttercream, drizzled with dark chocolate and topped with malteasers. Last weekend I was a biscuit baker!! 2 x batches of ANZAC and 1 x choc chip!!! The house smelt amazing and I was pleased there was enough for one to be taste tested whilst warm, that's the lengths we go to here, and all for your quality control!!😜

Looking for something to keep the kids happy these holidays? I found this great website which has some kid friendly baking ideas! It's hard to go past Banana Bread with the lower sugar content then cake (fully iced) and a great use for ageing bananas. This is a stunning engagement cake for Jess and Daniel!! It's Jess's 6th order with me and I love the way we work together, starting with her ideas and then I make suggestions from there. And for this event, this final design certainly wasn't were we started! It's a pleasure to see the ideas progress and the trust Jess gives me to get her cakes right. This base tier was chocolate mud cake, covered in white buttercream rosettes. The top tier caramel mud and covered with fondant which I painted with gold lustre. The fondant rose topper compliments the bottom tier perfectly and Jess was stoked with the result! Congrats guys, looking forward to your wedding cake next year already!!

So pleased the sun came out for Aurora's 3rd birthday party today!!! This is a choc mud Spiderman themed cake, covered in pink buttercream, with black royal icing features, fondant eyes and edible printed name plaque.
