Christmas Service Times
Notes & News - 27 November 2016 CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL Thank you once again to everyone who supported the Christmas Tree Festival last week-end. Special thanks to Janice and Glen Doyle and their team of helpers who managed this great event. We raised approximately $4,500. CONGRATULATIONS to Michele Yuen who will be ordained Deacon at the upcoming Diocesan Ordination. Many of you will have met Michele as she has worked in the Admin role in our Parish office for 2016. The great news for Glenelg is that Michele is to be placed here as an assistant curate. At this stage we anticipate she will be 0.4FTE and is still continuing her studies half time. The ordination service will be at St Peter's Cathedral on 10th December at 10:00am. Parishioners are welcome to attend. We will also be giving Michele a gift from the parish. If you would like to make a donation towards a gift for Michele please pass it on to Wendy or Fr Andrew, or place in the collection plate in an envelope marked "Michele's Gift". We look forward to having Michele ministering with us, this change in role will mean some changes to her existing Friday duties but that is still to be negotiated. PARISH NOTES - the next edition of the newsletter is being prepared, if you would like to include an article, picture or advertisement, please email it to the Parish Office by Friday 2nd December. Thank you.
