Wedding ceremony, Ceremony Planning, Marriages, Naming Ceremony, Commitment Ceremony, Life Celebrations, Vow Renewals, It wasn’t until I had the experience of planning my daughters wedding that I learned how much I adored the ceremonial part of the wedding day the most. I realised how special those moments in life are, and to be a part of that from start to finish truly touched me.

I was lucky enough to have full involvement with the planning of my daughters wedding, from organising music, poems, rituals, flowers, themes and decorations!  It all went off beautifully and reflected the couple in every way. I will never forget just how touched all the guests were by the romance and atmosphere that was in the air that day.

Of course, I would love to have the opportunity to create that same experience with my future clients.

I believe that the creation of a great wedding ceremony is based on the reflection of  ‘The Bride and Groom ‘s Tale’ of love – and presenting it through Music, Poems, Symbolic Rituals, the Perfect Vows, and with an infusion of Romance to suite.

The honoured role as a Civil Marriage Celebrant allows me to experience the joy and journey with couples planning their own special ceremony.

WHAT IS THE PROPER WAY TO WEAR A WEDDING RING SET? According American etiquette experts, the bride's wedding ring is worn on her left-hand ring finger first, with her engagement ring placed on top it. The reasoning behind this placement is to facilitate the exchange of wedding rings during the wedding ceremony. Traditionally, the bride wears her engagement ring on her right hand so her husband can place the wedding ring on her left. After the ceremony, she moves the engagement ring and places it on top of her wedding band. One of the ways to recall the traditional placement is to remember that a bride wears her wedding ring closer to her heart.
