It is with great sadness that we announce that The Rustic Pear will unfortunately be closing. What a beautiful year we have had putting our heart, soul, time and fortunes into such a well received and immensely supported store. As I sit here writing this, rocking our darling little Manny to sleep, i know that it is for the very best to invest all our passion, energy, drive and love into our new project, Manny. Ultimately, family is the core of our lives, we are so very family oriented and these precious moments are irreplaceable. Since our opening, a year ago our amazing support network and clientele, Australia wide has been completely overwhelming and something dreams are made of. We thank every single one of our gorgeous customers, from the bottom of our hearts for letting a little bit of the Pear into your homes and lives, without you guys there wouldn't have been a pear! We thank our beautiful family & friends, that supported this rollercoaster, pushed us to continue when we faced many challenges and ugliness while other stores chose to lose faith in their own creativity and labels, and they acknowledge the core reason we came to this decision with a heavy heart. We were so proud to have been able to provide our community with the sourced brands, with a huge emphasis on originality, creativity and ethically produced designs. We thank the so very talented small businesses and suppliers that became daily contacts and a part of our lives. We thank the beautiful little boho babes and their parents for allowing us to promote these labels on our social media without hesitation. We thank @banofi for becoming the local stockist for @cintachild and we wish Alice & Jacinda the very best in their future working together. Those that purchased gift vouchers have been contacted prior to this and have redeemed their purchases. Again, many thanks to you all, hugs and kisses. Dianne, Sage and Manny xx
