Greg James is one of WA's leading figurative sculptors, recognised for his attention to detail & ability to bring the essence of a person to life in bronze Greg James Sculpture Studio Gallery is located in J Shed, Bathers Beach Fremantle, WA, and has been since 1992. Greg has developed this space to be a highly efficient and productive sculpture studio, which has seen the creation of many works including the intimate sensual nude, windswept fishermen, the heroic soldier and the iconic rock star.A viewing gallery and deck overlooking the busy studio, is open to the public, and features sculpture drawings and paintings by Greg James, as well as other artists work.
The gallery is available for hire, and often hosts exhibitions including photography, sculpture, ceramics, paintings, wood work and more. Shipping, transport and installation of sculpture can be arranged, and clients have the opportunity to rent a sculpture or purchase a sculpture with our flexible time payment options.Greg is available to provide group talks and presentations for those interested in learning about sculpture and his work specifically.

Details: Perth Folk and Roots Club is working with Greg James Sculpture Studio Gallery at the J Shed in Fremantle for J Shed Folk and Roots, a music show combined with an art showing on with City of Fremantle support. For this event, the Perth Folk and Roots Club has the Fiona Heath Duet, John Talati and a Trio of John McNair, Matt Stapleton and Keith Anthonisz. Fiona Heath brings expressive performance of acoustic music, jazz and soul as well as original songs and crowd favourite interpretations of Amy Winehouse. John Talati [John Talati Musician] has been a performer at The Perth Blues Club working with many musicians and also played with well known Perth blues and roots men, Indigo Duck featuring Jeff Harrison and John Chopping.
