LIFE MEMBERSHIP NOMINATION We would like to nominate Mr Tony (Anthony)Page for life membership of the Woodville District Baseball club and for his nomination if the board agrees to be presented before the members at the next AGM. Tony’s involvement in our club has been for over 40 years; the last 20 years from Melbourne where he & his family were transferred for his job with AXA/AMP. Tony has had an extensive contribution to Woodville on and off the field; as a Player (466 games and only being 32 years of age), as a Committee Member & Social Committee Member. Tony has been previously been involved in many off field facets of the club for example fund raising committees, ground maintenance which he & his brother Darren did for 10 years, working in the bar and always a regular at working bees etc. When the Club was struggling on field in the late 1980's & early 1990's Tony was always willing to put his hand up to assist the A Grade & B Grade whenever he could. Tony has also umpired on a regular basis over many years when the question would be asked on a Thursday night. Tony & wife Denise took into their home American imports at no cost to club as well as American billets at Christmas. His wife always supported him and spent many years in the canteen. As with all club people there are many other times that Tony has returned to Adelaide since his departure & supported the Woodville Baseball Club. His continued support for the club to grow and prosper is truly what previous life members have also done. Tony has recently supported the club again (with wife Denise) by joining the Senators 5023 Club & travelled from Melbourne to attend the functions. Tony is a Woodville person through & through and we cannot think of anyone more deserving to receive life membership. Craig & Marie Reval.

To the Woodville Baseball Club: I would like to thank the Board and the Woodville Baseball Club for giving me the opportunity to be on the coaching staff for the past 3 years. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time, great Club, great people and as we all know the best field in the State.. It was a privilege to be able to help guide the athletes at the club and I hope I was able to be of some influence. Keep working hard on your game boys the sky's the limit. I would like to wish Gary, his staff and the Club all the best for the upcoming seasons.. As you may know I have accepted a coaching role at East Torrens for next season, which I am excited about. Last but not least I have made many new friends at Woodville (great family club) which I now see as lifelong friends. Wal
