Traditional Korean Martial Arts for adults, children, and families. Taught by PJ Steyer SBN, Certified Master Instructor. An official MOO DUK KWAN school. Traditional Korean martial arts school, in which PHILOSOPHY and ACTION are inseparable. All instruction is delivered by PJ Steyer Sa Bom Nim, an internationally certified 6th-degree master with over 25 years of teaching experience to all age and ability levels.  For the best in self-defense, fitness, discipline, and focus, EXPERIENCE is the difference!  We are an official branch of the renowned organization "Moo Duk Kwan," created by Hwang Kee in 1945.

Term 2 at Melbourne Classical Martial Arts begins this coming Tuesday, April 18th, with our 6:30-7:30 class, followed by our 7:30-8:00 open training time. If you would like to try a class before signing up, please come to this Tuesday’s class, and then receive a beginner lesson at 7:30, all for FREE! Please also note the new, earlier time for our Saturday classes - 9:30-11:30am. Our full schedule for this term will be: Tuesdays 6:30-7:30pm - class for all ages and ranks 7:30-8:00pm - open training time Saturdays 9:30-11:30am - class for all ages and ranks 10:30am - 5-minute break and late arrival/early departure time (if needed) Special training dates to be aware of through July: Tuesday, April 18th - First class of Term 2 Saturday, June 24th, 9:30-11:30am - Term 2 Gup Test. Candidates must be PRESENT AND IN UNIFORM by 9:15am. Tuesday, June 27th - Last class of Term 2 Saturday, July 1, 9am-1pm - Regional Training Day @ Melbourne Classical Martial Arts, Cooper Street Community Centre, 101 Cooper St., Essendon. All Members 9a-10a & 10a-11a, Dan Members only 11a-1p. $20 per student. Please note that this Saturday, March 4th, the second hour of our regular 11:30-1:30 class will be taught by guest instructor Chris McMillan JKN of Caulfield. There will be no change to the schedule, and Steyer SBN will be teaching the first hour of class as usual. If anyone has any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
