Hope you can come along and support your wee local charity at Lamont Farm Project's Christmas Fayre this Saturday 2/12/17 from 12-4pm in the main barn. Entry is free. There will be a Raffle with some fabulous prizes, Tombola stalls, home baking, handmade craft stalls and other goings on (see our event post for more information). A very special visitor will be in the Grotto, for which there is a small donation of £2/ child (no gift, but the children will be able to give Santa their Christmas gift wish instead). And don't forget you will have the chance to meet our wonderful animals during your visit! We are also selling tickets to "Guess the Bear's Birthday", with the chance to win the 1st prize of a 4.5 litre bottle (1 gallon) of Famous Grouse whisky. This has been generously donated by Alan & Sharon Gilkison of The Bridgwater pub. There is also a 2nd prize of two tickets to any Hamilton Accies home game (excluding old firm matches), which has been kindly donated by the Anchor Hockey Club. If you'd like to be in with a chance of winning one of these great prizes, tickets are available to purchase direct from the Farm for only £1 each. You buy them now by sending us a PM and then paying us via PayPal (lamontfarmproject@gmail.com). Tickets will also be on sale at our Christmas Fayre on Saturday 2nd December. This raffle will run until 10th December, when the winner will drawn. All proceeds from the Christmas Fayre and "Guess the Bear's Birthday" will go towards paying for feed and bedding for our animals.
They do love a wee bit of sunshine 🌞
Thanks very much to the Anchor Hockey Club (Robert Boyd) for kindly donating two Match Day Tickets for ANY home league game at Hamilton Academical Football Club (with the exception of “old firm” matches). We will be raffling these off and all proceeds raised from them will go to the Farm animals upkeep.
We are very grateful to Alan & Sharon Gilkison, owners of The Bridgewater pub in Erskine, who have very generously donated a 4.5 litre bottle of Famous Grouse whisky to us to raffle off to raise funds for the Farm. If you'd like to be in with a chance of winning this magnificent prize then please buy some tickets to "Guess the Bear's Birthday". They are available to purchase from the Farm direct for only £1 each and you can get these by sending us a PM and then paying us via PayPal (lamontfarmproject@gmail.com). Tickets will also be on sale at our Christmas Fayre on Saturday 2nd December. This raffle will run until 10th December, when the winner will drawn. All proceeds from the raffle will be donated to the Farm to help provide feed and bedding for our animals.
Can everyone please share far and wide, every little helps!
Well it’s that time of year again, everyone’s getting ready for Santa Claus 🎅 (or Santa Paws!), however for everyone here at Lamont Farm it’s one of the harder times of the year. It costs a lot of money to see the farm through a winter every year, and this year is no different- to feed, hay and care for all of our furry and fuzzy friends involves fundraising and hard work. You may have noticed that our Kidz Klub have been bagpacking and Carol Singing to try and raise the vital funds to see the farm through another winter, but they can’t raise all the money alone. That’s why we need your help! This Christmas can you give a gift that keeps on giving? A donation to Lamont Farm can ensure the longevity of the Project, make sure that future generations can enjoy the farm as we have throughout the years. If you can even pledge £1 it can make all the difference- with over 5000 followers can you imaging what would happen if even half pledged £1. What about any old £1 coins that you might still have lying about, that you don’t want to take to the bank- donate them to us! We’ll gather them all up and change them over, and this could be the money used to feed your favourite furry friends! So please PLEASE give what you can to Lamont Farm this Christmas, and make it an enjoyable one for all of the animals. You can also donate by purchasing off of our amazon wish list (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/ls/ref=?ie=UTF8&%2AVersion%2A=1&%2Aentries%2A=0&lid=230WDUH22MY0G&ty=wishlist) , dropping in donations of cat food or anything else for our furry friends! Everything is very gratefully received and a little help goes a long way! Thank you *PayPal donations can be made to lamontfarmproject@gmail.com, pm us if you’d like details for bank transfer, cheques can be made payable to Lamont Farm Project and other donations can be given to any volunteer at the farm .
