I received a lovely SMS last week from Emma and Matt (married at Zonzo Estate, 24th June 2017) thanking me for my contribution to their lovely wedding ceremony. It was a pleasure for me to be a part of their event.

I am thankful for the chance to meet with Gabrielle and Kyle today and am thrilled to be their chosen wedding celebrant for their 16th February 2018 wedding at Zonzo Estate (https://www.zonzo.com.au/) in Yarra Glen where I am fortunate enough to be on the preferred suppliers list.

After our rehearsal last weekend, today Emma and Matt had their wedding ceremony. The barn at Zonzo Estate was delightfully styled; country theme. The ceremony was wonderful, a lot of respect coming forth from the guests for this couple. A highlight were the personal acknowledgments the bride & groom had created to be presented for each member of their bridal party, an acknowledgement of their role in their lives and how valued they are. It was a chilly 10 degrees outside but the Zonzo staff had the hardcore turbo gas heaters in the barn right up until ceremony time - very helpful to keep guests comfortable.

I have been fortunate, again, to be reviewed on the Easy Weddings website (https://www.easyweddings.com.au/). I am grateful for Nicki and her very kind review. Nicki and Patrick were married at the Grange Cleveland Estate in Lancefield on January 7th 2017. It is as she mentions in the review, we organised the entire ceremony via phone and email as they lived in Wodonga. We met for the first time at the rehearsal, the day before the wedding! And, the outcome was a lovely, personalised ceremony. It absolutely helped that Nicki was an incredibly organised and efficient bride and that Patrick was so competent with the final elements of organisation on the day of the wedding. I had a lovely wedding rehearsal with Emma and Matt this morning. I'm grateful to them for being so welcoming, and forthcoming with their input towards the rehearsal. Rehearsals allow the couple and I to literally walk through how the ceremony will go with the added benefit of the collaborative environment where ideas/suggestions/prior knowledge can be shared. Ultimately, a rehearsal allows for a better wedding day outcome.

Ultimately, weddings are a celebration of a deepening of friendship. I was grateful to be the celebrant for Atlanta and Max November 2016. Yesterday I was the celebrant at my 100th ceremony. Wow! It was a lovely ceremony with Atlanta and Max out at a gorgeous private property near Yea.
