The time has come to shed that which will not serve you and to reveal the beauty of your Authentic Self. 2018 is the year of Emergence- a time to pull yourself fully out of the cocoon where you have been living and to fly free on newly birthed wings. How better to honour your true authentic self than in the company of Sisters during the rites of ceremony? Join us as we spend an evening shedding that which is no longer needed and allowing your inner Light to shine. Our ceremony begins with ritual cleansing and purification. We will wash our hands in a symbolic symbol of clearing off the old and then 'bathe' in sage and frankincense smoke to purify our energy fields. We will release the old into the fire before us and allow our authentic self to come forth. Ceremony will be followed by feasting and drumming as we come together in community to celebrate our Authentic selves! We ask that you bring with you written down what you wish to release into the fire and the concept of what you are revealing during the ceremony. It is an interesting time we live in. There is much 'shaking up' in the world around us. Things that have been simply accepted as common place are being thrown into the light and seen for what they truly are. Women's voices are rising as the Sacred Feminine Energy awakens and women begin to unite. The great rebalancing is at hand. What an interesting time we have chosen to live. You see around you women's circles popping up, communal based living arrangements becoming more and more the norm, women's groups, work, etc becoming stronger in the fabric of our society. Women are feeling the urge to CONNECT and connect at a heart centred, deep place of inner knowing, because it is only through the connection that we, collectively, will raise the vibration of women's work around the planet and facilitate the rebalancing of energies. Only together can this work be done. And for this places such as Our Sacred Space are opening. We are here to support the connection of women and to facilitate the work that they are each meant to do. Because although each of us are Mother, Daughter, Partner, Hestia, Homemaker...we are each something else. And that 'something else' is what has been brewing within you these past years. You are more than your 9 - 5 job, more than any of the roles, you have a divine purpose and as we connect and offer support to each other, your own authentic self can finally feel safe enough to come out to play. Yet women can also be their worst enemies. We come together as packs when young, picking on the designated outsider and keeping the odd young girl out. We do the same when we are older, finding comfort in groups because we are not shown how to be authentically ourselves. Our unique feminine nature is not valued as in days of old when Intuition and the Healing arts were highly respected. So we sit, some of us, in victim mode, blaming all before us for our unhappiness and dissatisfaction with life. By coming together in ceremony and sacred circle or simple at the water cooler at the office, we must shed this energy of victim and of competition. If we are to truly connect at that heart-centre, we cannot do so if we are blaming or comparing ourselves to the Sister before us. We must shed this energy and come together with respect, honour, love and understanding We, each of us, are responsible for our own lives, our own healing and wellbeing and that the Sister before us is also in the same place. We cannot rise in collective power around the world if we are stabbing each other in the back in our own front doorway. Leave the pettiness behind, leave the comparison, the jealousy, the competition out of 2018 and understand that you (yes you!) have the power to aid in the healing of the planet (how cool is that!) .....or you can remain in the energy that we will actively be working to heal and banish. Connect with a women's group, sit in circle, join a ceremony and see the magic that can be done when women unite from a place of love. This month at OSS we are hosting several events that give you an opportunity to connect...Michele and I are hosting our Abundance Ceremony on Feb 12 at 10, Elise Heyward is hosting her Tea Ceremony over two weekends-- this is a powerful ceremony to connect to self.. Crystal Healing Yoga Shahereen is planning a women's circle later in the month and Jenny McLean, myself and Michele are planning a Reclaiming Ceremony on Feb 4, 7 - 9...this will also be a powerful ceremony set in 3 parts to finally leave old energy behind and 'reclaim' parts of you that have been lost and buried. Yesterday at Our Sacred Space we held what I'd consider a ground breaking program. For over a year now I've envisioned creating a safe space for children who are experiencing extraordinary things- seeing, sensing, feeling Spirits, seeing colours, hearing voices not there, etc. My daughter is one of these children, yet she has been born into a family where this is normal, so I am able to guide her, listen to her and give her skills so she can feel safe and grow with her gifts. I knew that not every child out there had parents where this would be normal, so I really have felt the push to open this space to help parents and the children. It is NOT the children of todays fate to be shushed and told to 'not speak of these things' as it was for my generation and those before. This generation is coming into this life with extraordinary gifts and it is our job, my job, to ensure that they feel free to express themselves and feel safe and supported. And learn skills to hone their gifts. So yesterday we held a circle with 5 unique and beautiful little Souls. My dear sister Jenny McLean held space with me as she is truly gifted working with children. At first everyone (including my daughter) just stared ahead looking like they would rather be at the dentist than there. They were skeptical and hesitant to speak. Anticipating this, Jenny and I began to share our own stories. We made the unusual, usual and slowly the children warmed up. I could see in their eyes the wonder that 'Hey these grown ups also can see what I see!' and that made it normal and safe to speak. Even my very hesitant daughter was chattering away at the end sharing her adventures with Spirits to the group. Each child spoke and shared, their eyes lighting up as they felt that the space was safe to share and that they might actually learn something. As an extra bonus, an actual spirit came to join us. A young boy, mischievous and curious could feel our energy and sat behind Jenny making himself known. We talked about what each of us was sensing. It was a great learning experience. As I sit this morning truly in awe and wonder at the beauty of the children. Their openness and desire to share in what years ago would have been completely taboo. It is taboo no longer and will never be within Our Sacred Space. I know there are other children out there who would greatly benefit from this circle. If you are the parent of a child having experiences, please PM me through OSS so we can discuss what is going on for your child. Do not feel you are alone in this Journey because in deed you are not. We will be offering more classes for children to guide them in the ways of energy, meditation and of course crystals. Jenny of Serene Crystal Healing is offering a term 1 course for children which includes meditation, some basic energy work and of course working with crystals. I know there are tons of children out there to instantly gravitate towards crystal energy. If your child is one of them, come to Jenny's class and allow the children to be guided by a skilful and talented instructor. I am truly grateful this morning for having his opportunity. For birthing something that I saw in vision and know is so needed in the world today. And for the parents for trusting me with their precious little ones-- and of course the children for being youthful, trusting and open. opps! And our young spirit child who came to play. Thank you-- I am humbled each and every day by the work that I have been gifted to do and the beautiful Souls that touch my life. May we all bloom and grow.
